The Frederick Fairgrounds were painted pink as over fifty runners gathered the weekend of May3rd/4th to run for Sophie and Madigan's Playground at the Frederick Running Festival. The weekend events kicked off Saturday afternoon when many of our runners and volunteers helped pass out race packets and t-shirts. Most then continued on to run in the Twilight 5k. Almost half of our runners were "nutty" enough to do both the 5k and the Half Marathon, AKA "The Nut Job".

After each event, runners were invited back to our tent in Celebration Village where they met other runners and rested. This event was our first opportunity to partner as an official charity with the Frederick Running Festival. Runners registered through us and raised funds. In total our runners raised over $11,000 for Sophie and Madigan's Playground.
